Book Review: Mistlefoe by Kimberly Lemming

By

Mistlefoe by Kimberly Lemming is a novella that is defintiely worth the read. If you’re a fan of Kimberly Lemming’s other books, specifically her Mead Mishaps series, you’re going to love this one too.

This book was very funny, short and sweet, yet also spicy! There is a talking sword named Alexis who steals the show and is absolutely hilarious. I was laughing out loud! Kimberly Lemming knows how to write funny characters and her writing style in general is just so easy to follow and so fun to read. I loved the way the MMC called our FMC “vixen”, it made me swoon so hard! I’m also a sucker for fake dating and I love when there’s only one bed *wink*.

Additionally, I really liked the pacing of this story. Even though this is a short, fast-paced read, it didn’t feel rushed to me which I greatly appreciated. Of course when it ended I wanted more, but that’s just because I’m greedy. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and gave it a solid 4.5 stars.

At this point, I would read Kimberly Lemming’s grocery list, I am THAT obsessed with this woman and her stories. I love a good rom com and when you add fantasy elements to it, it just makes shit even better. I can’t wait to see what else Kimberly Lemming blesses us with in the future!

If you’ve read Mistlefoe I’d love to hear what your thoughts were in the comments and as always, much love and happy reading friends!
