Bookish Brownie was created by Taylor, a 29 year old book lover who lives in Michigan. Taylor used to read as a kid but like many, her reading journey stalled out when she got to college. Her reading journey reignited in 2021 after she read Legendborn by Tracy Deonn. She had never felt more seen by a book and it made her want to see what other stories were out there, specifically stories by Black authors. After some time, Taylor began posting on TikTok about books and realized there was a whole community of book lovers out there. So, Taylor decided to start a bookish blog to keep track of her reads but also to stay connected with other bookish individuals. Thus, Bookish Brownie was born!
